Lung Khau Nhin is small market hiding itself amongst mountains and forests of the far north Vietnam about 10 km from the border with China, thus it’s almost untouched with few tourists visiting. The market is held on every Thursday from 7am to early afternoon with the attending of Nung, Flower H’mong, Black Dao, Tu Di and Giay minority peoples. You will find the place blessed with brilliant colors of the dresses, blankets, local’s products. Though not being popular or famous like other ethnic markets, Lung Khau Nhin plays an important role to the spiritual life of local people, especially to those live in small and isolated villages around.
Early depart from Sapa to Lung Khau Nhin Market delivers beautiful scenery, with Pine Tree forests and villages surrounding the tiny market. Tu Di, Flower H'mong, Tay and Giay ethnic minorities come to buy and sell local products such as fabric, food, fruit, animals and agricultural materials.
