This itinerary is suitable for guests who wish to conquer the highest peak in the Chin State of Western Myanmar.

Don’t worry much because the trail to the summit is quite easy and enjoyable with many chances to see birds, flowers and butterflies along the way. You can stop at any point to relax, or for great views and photograph of the surrounding area that actually is a national park possessing many rare and endangered species of flora and fauna. Then descend down to travel on a jeep around ethnic villages of Chin tribes to learn about a totally different way of life from daily Myanmar life.

Local people here still maintain their culture and tradition with women having tattooed face and attractive amber necklaces. Let’s go and see this gem now before it changes and the crowd of tourists will arrive 

Itinerary Mount Victoria Exploration

DAY 1    Bagan – Kanpetlet    Meals: L    
Today begin your Mount Victoria Exploration within a 7 hour driver by local jeeps to Kanpetlet. Start a drive to Chauk then enter area of Magway. Walk around the town and its local market to experience the real Myanmar that has been un-known to western tourism for decades. Next, continue to drive to Kazunma village and then stop for a break and lunch.
After lunch, continue drive to Kanpetlet by car on the way stop at the small town of Saw to enjoy splendid scenery from a viewpoint. An 18km driving distance brings you to the charming town of Kenpetlet. Check in hotel  
In the evening, enjoy your leisure evening by strolling around town. Dinner will be on your own account.

DAY 2    Kanpetlet – Mount Victoria – Aye Village – Kanpetlet    Meals: B,L    
Morning today your guide and driver will take you to the base camp of Mount Victoria where you'll be starting a trekking to the peak of the mountain through the forests with occasional viewpoints of the surrounding Chin Mountains (Trekking time: approx. 3hours). You'll not forget the experience in conquering the summit and taking a panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. It is a real challenge for you but it guarantee with an impressive trip in your lifetime.
In the afternoon, you start walking back down to the base camp and then transfer by car to Aye village - a Chin village located on a cliff where you will encounter with a few tattooed women. You'll explore this local village and interact with the villagers to understand about their culture and lifestyle. Drive back to hotel for overnight. 

DAY 3    Kanpetlet – Kyardo Village – Lotepe Village – Mindat    Meals: B,L    
On this morning, you will continue take a 2-hour jeep ride to Kyardo Village where you start trekking around the area. You'll chat with the villagers who are famous for their colorful traditional costumes and live with a belief in spirits and animism. After a 30-minutes walking, you'll reach the village of LotePe, an old Chin village on the top of a hill where you meet again some women with tattooed faces. A simple lunch will served in a local family house in the village.
In the afternoon when you finish the exploration, you will walk down to the base camp (60minutes) where a local jeep is waiting to take you to Mindat. Check in hotel for refresh. 

DAY 4    Mindat – Ponetaung Ponenyar – Bagan    Meals: B    
Breakfast at your hotel then you will explore the local market for shopping before transferring back to Bagan. The driving distance is approximately 6 hours. A simple lunch will be served. On the way you’ll have chance to take some photos at dramatic mountain ranges of Ponetaung Poneyar and the Pakokku Bridge.  End of day you reach Bagan for hotel check-in.
