The Dao men and women learn that love is a very important part of the village's life and is respected by everyone. Young people find friends at markets, go to remote villages on moonlit nights to sing, play the trumpet, flute, and dance. Weddings are attended by everyone as a festival.

With H’Mong people. Every spring, all the roads in the northwest of Vietnam are colorful with the brocade costumes of young girls. Or attend the wedding ceremony of the couples in the village. The H'mong people often hold festivals in the spring because to them, spring is the season of all things multiplying, the most beautiful weather of the year.

In order to have such encounters and relationships, husband and wife should go to the market on every market occasion, especially the New Year of the H'mong, children and girls aged 13-15. The young women put on the freshest and most colorful mandarins and immerse themselves in the bustling atmosphere of the market to date.

H'mong boys often choose for themselves a big and strong girl, muscular biceps, and small buttocks. Because of their concept, such women know how to cook, flatten the fabric, give birth, and raise children well.

The necessary items of the H'mong son when he went to ask his wife what he needed were pork, chicken, cash and some items, pipe tobacco and corn wine are two indispensable things at the beginning of the story. . The tray of offerings to the ancestors is indispensable with five-color sticky rice and pork, usually prepared by the groom's mother or an elderly woman in the family. According to the customs of the H'Mong, the marriage must have enough rituals such as the wedding ceremony, the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception, all of which are held on auspicious days and months. The wedding ceremony requires two matchmakers who know the songs of the wedding ceremony, connect the two houses to carry out the marriage ceremony and make an appointment to receive the bride.
On the wedding day. Relatives and people attending the wedding ceremony often wear the most beautiful traditional costumes embroidered and sewn by the H'Mong women themselves. When the groom's relatives had gathered, the head of the family handed over the gifts to the matchmaker and together checked the offerings carefully, assigned the work, they drank wine together.

Hmong weddings always have a groomsman. After the head of the family burns incense on the ancestral altar, the leader will guide the groom and best man to bow to the ancestors and then go around the table to ask for permission. After that, they prepared to go to pick up the bride. After the leader sings the song "Please for a black umbrella" and receives the cloth bag and umbrella from the leader's hand, the bride-to-be will come to the bride's door. It is believed that umbrellas are to cover the rain and sun on the way to carry the beard, and the bag is to set up the bride's necessary items when she returns to her husband's house.
When going to the girl's house, if the door is closed, the matchmaker will have to sing "Please open the door". Usually the bride's family has opened the door ready to welcome guests. Then they invited each other to smoke. As soon as the lyrics of the matchmaker's song "Please table and chair", the wine table was set up and the two families drank together. The matchmaker hands over the gifts to the bride's family including pork, chicken, corn wine, sticky rice, cash...

The bride at this time has also prepared a traditional costume sewn by her own hands, in a separate room, carefully instructed by her mother before going to her husband's house. After the groom's family asks permission, the bridesmaids will enter the room and lead the bride out.
According to custom, when the bride and groom have gone out the door, they are not allowed to look back at the house of the bride's parents. When the bride-to-be went halfway, they had to stop to rest, arrange food and drink for the matchmaker to invite the gods. The groomsmen will bow with the groom to the ancestors and to the bride's parents before taking the bride away. After completing the formalities, the bride was led by two family brothers to the door and handed them over to the person to pick them up. The procession of the bride will have to go around the village for everyone to witness.
Before entering the groom's house, the whole group had to stop in front of the door for the groom's father to pick up the couple. In his hand, he holds a rooster to cast a spell, three to the left and right to ward off bad luck, welcome good luck and join the new bride. At this time, the matchmaker will give the bride to the groom's family. After reporting the success of bringing the delegation, they together raised cups of warm corn wine, congratulated the good words, and wished the young couple long-lasting happiness. The party at the groom's house is already set up, the head of the groom's family invites everyone in the village, and the girl's family stays to celebrate the new bride.
