Full itinerary of tour Hanoi-Halong Bay-Ninh Binh
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL - CITY TOUR
We start a full day city tour with Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. At the complex, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the nation’s founder’s body is preserved (closed on Monday, Friday and through October - November), the colonial Presidential Palace, originally the French Governor Office and a fine example of French architecture in Hanoi, and the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked, One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond.
Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars.
Afternoon, come to the West Lake, the largest lake of Hanoi and visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda of Hanoi, built in the 6th Century and located on an islet in the lake. Take a cyclo tour through Hanoi’s downtown to sightsee the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets. End the tour by relaxing over a cup of coffee at a rooftop café and enjoying the full panoramic view of the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake (The Returned Sword Lake whose name comes from a legend of a sacred sword) at sunset.
DAY 2: HANOI-HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE
8:30: Our guide come to hotel to pick you up for Halong Bay departure. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta. You will have a short break on the half way.
12:00 – 12:30: Arriving Halong Bay. Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard. You will check into your cabin. After that you have a time to refresh and unwind. Then lunch is service at the restaurant while the boat cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay
Afternoon Activities:
- Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.
- Back to the cruise, We will take you to visit the Titop Island – swimming
- Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay in the Summer time.
- Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.
- After that, come back to the boat, enjoy the Sunset Party on sundeck (free wine & fresh fruits).
Evening Relaxing:
Dinner is served at the restaurant. Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around.
Overnight on board: Clean air – conditioned rooms with private washroom.
DAY 3: HALONG-HANOI-WATER PUPPET SHOW
Morning in the bay:
6:30 – 6:45: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt (Optional from 3.5 star cruise)
7:00: Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone. After that, play kayaking in 30-45 minutes.
9:30: We board the cruise again. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in luggage storage. Continue your cruise pass through the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more… Join in the Cooking Class , teaching you how to make our specifically (Spring rolls) before an early lunch is served.
11: 30 – 12:00 Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina.
12:10 – 12:30: Get on the van/ bus leave Halong back to Hanoi. You will have a short break on the half way about 20 minutes.
16:30 – 16:40: Arrive back Hanoi, you enjoy water puppet show then drive back hotel for check in then going for dinner.
DAY 4: HANOI-TRANG AN-BAI DINH-HANOI
You enjoy breakfast ai th hotel then ResponTravel's bus and tour guide will pick you up for day trip to Bai Dinh - Trang An.
Arrive at Bai Dinh pagoda, from the parking lot you get on the tram to move to the gate of Bai Dinh pagoda (about 3km). You visit the famous Bai Dinh pagoda with many records: The whole campus of Bai Dinh pagoda has an area of 107ha, in which, the Temple of Tam The and Phap Chu is thousands of square meters wide; At this temple, there is the largest bronze statue of Buddha Tathagata in Southeast Asia weighing 100 tons and three statues of Tam The, each weighing 50 tons.
You go back to the restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, we Trang An by boat. Along the stream in the middle of rice fields there many limestone strips, valleys and rivers intertwined, you have opportunity to visit 4 natural caves among the most beautiful caves in Trang An tourist area, namely Hang Lam, Hang Vang, Hang Thanh Slide and the last cave is Hang Dai. Stop to visit 3 spiritual spots: Cao Son Temple, Suoi Tien Temple and Vu Lam Hanh Cung.
Get on the bus back to Hanoi. 19h30: You return to Hanoi.
